How did Friday come so quickly? We hope your child(ren) had a fabulous week at Breaker Rock Beach and learned some great truths about Jesus being their solid rock. The waves of culture can’t change it. Opinions can’t move it. Personal prefernce can’t wish it away. Today we learned that often PEOPLE say…”If you don’t agree with me, you don’t love me.” BUT GOD says…”Speak truth in LOVE!”
We look forward to seeing your family at our program and picnic on Sunday!
Verse of the Week:
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.
Missions Project:
Our missions project, is being directed to an organization called ALASKA STUDENT PARTNERSHIP. They are currently building a a training/resource and church in Bethel, Alaska to serve as a hub for 56 villages in Western Alaska that need the gospel. Throughout this week, kids will hear more about living in Alaska. The funds collected will go towards a basketball court and children’s ministry furnishing. We have learned some interesting things about life in the small villages of Alaska. Quiz your kids. 🙂
Friday Total: $375.00
Total: $668.50 (The kids set a goal of $500 on Monday! Way to go!) Two families have come forward to match what the kids raised so we are able to send a total of $2,005.50 to the Alaska Student Partnership.
Thank you for your donations!
