Welcome!

Thanks for taking the time to learn about our church. We want to help you love Jesus more. We also want to help anyone else in your family to do the same thing. We love meeting new people and would enjoy the chance to meet you on Sunday.

Our Sunday morning service is at 10am. The Word of God (the Bible) is essential to everything we do at Oxboro. In our Sunday service, we worship through song, prayer, and the preaching of God’s Word. We typically preach expositionally, meaning that we go through entire books of the Bible verse-by-verse to understand all of what the Bible teaches.

We are also a multi-generational church and love seeing all ages gathered on Sunday morning to help disciple one another in our adoration of who God is. Singing plays a big role in helping us adore God. We sing a mix of old and new hymns and songs, all with a commitment to biblical faithfulness, theological richness, and congregational participation in our singing.

We have a nursery for families downstairs with infants-3 years old. For those in Pre-K-5^th grade, they join us for the first portion of the service and then are invited downstairs to learn how the Bible points to Jesus in smaller groups divided up by age. The exception to this is the first Sunday of the month, when people from Pre-K on up join for the whole service. It is on the first Sunday of the month when we remember Jesus’ death and resurrection through communion.

During the week, we have opportunities for all ages to grow in their knowledge of God, in relationship with others, and in the joy of being known. These look like Wednesday nights for children and youth, small groups for adults on various nights, and periodic fun activities like pickleball, basketball, women’s events, and men’s events.

Is there anything before the service? We do have coffee and other drinks offered before the service. Most people choose to stick around after after the service for a time of fellowship.

Do I have to check kids in? Yes you do. We have a Children’s check-in table on the main level where someone will help register your child.

What should I wear? Come as you are. We have a wide range of dress from shorts (no A/C in the summer) to dresses to sport coats.

Can my children join me in the worship service? Absolutely! While we have opportunities for kids listed above, we know that some families want to worship together. Your children are welcome to join you in the service.

Do you have a cry room available? Yes, we have a mothers’ room available on the main level for the comfort of our new moms and babies.
