We strive to be a church that pursues spiritually-beneficial relationships beyond just our Sunday morning service. Here are some additional ministry opportunities at Oxboro, as well a bit about their purpose and expected level of commitment:

Community Events: We regularly hold fun events as an Oxboro community. These events are a great place to meet and spend time with others – attend any that interest you!

  • Men’s Breakfast: Meeting the first Saturday of every month, join us for eggs, bacon and conversation. Check the church calendar for the current topic and location.
  • Women’s Events: Meeting on varying dates throughout the year, please check the church calendar for upcoming dates and details. Past events have included: Spring Brunch, Christmas in July, and Paint-a-Picture Night.
  • Special Events: Additional events are specially planned throughout the year, check the church calendar and weekly bulletin to stay up-to-date. Past events have included: 20-30’s game night, Minnesota Twins games outing, “Welcome Home” celebration, Donuts & Coffee with our Missionaries, etc.
  • Open-gym Basketball: All ages are welcome to join us to play basketball on Monday nights this fall. Check the church calendar to confirm which dates we are playing basketball.

Bible Studies: Are you looking for a regular opportunity to learn more about faith and the Bible with others? Oxboro’s Bible Studies generally meet weekly, but have no expectation of weekly attendance. Come as you’re able, and note that we do not offer regular childcare for these studies. Check the church calendar to confirm that study is planned for that week.

  • Co-ed: Adult Sunday School – Sundays at 9am in the Fireside room
  • Men: “Ironmen” Bible Study – Thursdays at 7pm in the Fireside room
  • Women: Women’s Bible Study – Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Fireside room

Small Groups: Looking to invest more deeply in ongoing relationships? Oxboro small groups generally meet every other week during the school year, often in a church member’s home. Most small groups stay together year-over-year. Small Group meetings regularly include some form of Biblical study together, but they additionally emphasize a desire to “do life” together.

  • New members most often enter a small group during kick-off (September) or in the new year (January). Entry opportunities will be promoted at those times.
