It may be raining outside, but we didn’t let that dampen our spirits at Breaker Rock Beach.  Today we learned that often PEOPLE say…”Being a Good person gets you into heaven.” BUT GOD says…”Everyone sins and needs a savior!”

Thursday – Quarter (If the kids bring even one quarter, they will be able to choose a handmade bracelet, a sticker or candy. Bracelets have been made by 4 girls from Oxboro who have been tying to help raise money for our missions project.)

Missions Project: 
Our missions project, is being directed to an organization called ALASKA STUDENT PARTNERSHIP. They are currently building a a training/resource and church in Bethel, Alaska to serve as a hub for 56 villages in Western Alaska that need the gospel. Throughout this week, kids will hear more about living in Alaska. The funds collected will go towards  a basketball court and children’s ministry furnishing. We have learned some interesting things about life in the small villages of Alaska. Quiz your kids. 🙂

Chill & Grill for kids entering 6th Grade
Anyone who will be in 6th grade in the fall, we invite you to hangout with the Youth Group, eat good summer food and play fun games on Wednesday, June 12 from 6:30-8:00 pm. Questions? Email Amy@oxboro.org – Amy is our awesome Youth Director.

Games:
Just a heads up that water balloon day will be Thursday. This is a heads up only! We do not encourage kids to wear swim suits. They will not get that wet.

Outdoor pickup:
Please put your pick up tag in your front window so we can direct your children to your car. If you do not have a pick up tag, please let us know at check in. Please enter on the south side of the church and “snake around” to the north side so we do not block Nicollet. Thank you for following this.

Sunday Program and Picnic:
We invite you to join us for our Community Picnic that follows our program on Sunday, June 16. The program will be at 10:00 am and you will enjoy hearing your children sing the songs they learned during the week. You will also be able to experience VBS through the video that will pull together the fun we had all week. At the picnic, we will have FREE food, bounce houses, cotton candy, snow cone, popcorn, face painting and a demo with the Bloomington Police and one of  their police dog. Picnic from 11:00 -1:30
